Leaders of the Southern African Development Community are in the Zimbawean capital Harare for the latest attempt to salvage the country's power sharing agreement.
Last month, President Robert Mugabe and Morgan Tsvangirai, the leader of the main opposition party Movement for Democratic Change, signed an accord to form a unity government under the mediation of former South African President Thabo Mbeki.
However, attempts to from an inclusive government have stalled over a dispute over the allocation of key cabinet posts. Advertisement
Mr Tsvangirai said he had been unable to attend a similar meeting in Swaziland last week because the Zimbabwean authorities had refused to issue him with a passport. - RTÉ News.
